The Washington Stealth were members of the National Lacrosse League (NLL) from 2010 through 2013, playing their home games at the 8,513-seat Comcast Arena in Everett, Washington, part of the Seattle metropolitan area.
The team made an immediate impact in their inaugural 2010 season in Washington, finishing first overall and capturing their first NLL Championship by defeating the Toronto Rock 15-11 in the championship game at Comcast Arena in front of a sellout crowd of 8,609 fans. During their four-season run in Everett, the Stealth were a dominant force on the playing surface, appearing in the NLL Championship Game three times (2010, 2011, and 2013), winning the Champions Cup in their debut 2010 season.
The team faced adversity during the 2012 season when Head Coach Chris Hall missed part of the season battling throat cancer, leading to a disappointing 4-12 record and last-place finish. However, with Hall's return for the full 2013 season, the Stealth bounced back impressively to reach the championship game once again.
Despite their on-field success, the Stealth struggled financially in the Everett market, which proved too small to sustain the franchise. Following the 2013 season, the team relocated to Langley, British Columbia, where they became the Vancouver Stealth (and later the Vancouver Warriors), ending their brief but memorable chapter in Washington state sports history.
