Fair State Brewing Cooperative T-Shirt - Craft Beer Industry Logo Tee
Wear a piece of Minneapolis craft beer history. Fair State Brewing Cooperative was a worker-owned brewery in Minneapolis known for its community-focused approach, innovative beer styles, and cooperative business model. The brewery built a passionate following with creative IPAs, lagers, and experimental releases while operating as one of the rare worker cooperatives in the craft beer industry, representing an alternative ownership model that put employees at the center of decision-making.
Despite strong local support and the unique cooperative structure, Fair State faced the mounting pressures crushing independent craft breweries. Market saturation as Minneapolis became oversaturated with craft breweries, intense competition for tap handles and shelf space, rising ingredient and production costs, difficulties scaling production profitably while maintaining quality, the capital requirements of expanding brewing capacity, and the challenge of competing against both larger regional craft breweries and corporate-owned "craft" brands created unsustainable financial strain. The brewery ultimately closed its doors.
This tee features the Fair State Brewing Cooperative logo with a distressed, cracked vintage aesthetic that celebrates the brewery's cooperative spirit.
